Adachi Kana & Takeuchi Yuito: Stars of Ao Haru Ride Soundtrack

Adachi Kana & Takeuchi Yuito: Stars of Ao Haru Ride Soundtrack

“Ao Haru Ride” follows Futaba Yoshioka, who fell in love with her classmate Kou Tanaka in middle school. Their romance ended abruptly when Kou vanished. Three years later, as Futaba approaches high school graduation, Kou reappears as Kou Mabuchi, now cold and distant. Futaba seeks to understand his change and wonders if they can rekindle their love or if more heartache awaits. This 2023 Japanese drama is based on Io Sakisaka’s popular manga and directed by Kimura Mahito. This series also has a second season , where Kou can finally do the promised date from years before.

Although there is an amazing composition by Masaru Yokoyama, none of the songs are theme songs but they do belong to the main theme.

Theme song :<Adachi Kana feat. Takeuchi Yuito “When This Rain Stops”>  「この雨がやんだら」

The song is like a dialogue between young love declaring eternal memory of their love. The lyrics and melody make a great combo, and the voices are well-selected.
