Japan’s music industry, known for its diversity and innovation, has witnessed numerous artists rise to fame. Yet, only a select few have managed to maintain a steady presence on the prestigious Japan Hot 100 chart.
It’s easy to keep track of who is on top of the charts every week. However, the longest presence on the chart tells us the Japanese society preferences and the top artists in the music industry in Japan. This doesn’t mean they are still in the Global chart, but they are sure are trying to bring quality into their industry.

In 2021, they produced a song for BTS and released several successful singles, including “Kaito” and “Yellow.” Their 2023 album “Humor” marked their return after four years, followed by a sold-out dome tour. Upcoming projects include a new arena tour in 2024 and the release of new singles and theme songs for dramas.
